Energy Lines at St David’s Cathedral

by Jan Spence

Walking around the cathedral in the direction of the arrows revealed that three main lines of dowsable energy, marked A, B, C, ran the through the building from east to west. Another set of three lines, D, E, F, ran from north to south. There were other lines present as well but they were not observed in the survey. The lines were first dowsed for on Friday 15th May 1998, again on Monday 18th and every day after that for two weeks, except for Saturday 23rd.

St David’s Cathedral

The first week was an ordinary one for the cathedral in that most religious activity took place on the Sunday. During the second week there was a musical festival, with daytime rehearsals and evening performances, as well as the usual services. The area at the font was also dowsed to determine the quality and strength of the energy. This was done using a scale of 1 to 10.

In the choir area there are two serpents and a Green Man carved on the seats where the central line E passes through.

The following chart shows the findings of the survey.

My previous survey at Fishbourne Church showed that the width of the lines increased in accordance to the amount of worship. There was an immediate increase due to the Sunday services and a steady decline through the following week unless there was a baptism, wedding or funeral. This trend is consistent with what was found during the first week at St David’s, but was reversed in the second week with the increased activity of the musical festival. This clearly demonstrates that human activity of a religious and joyful nature has an affect on the size, strength and quality of earth energy lines.
