Re: Follow up to 'The Sun and the Serpent'?

Hi Paul, There is a thread in the earth energies section about the Michael/Mary line that may answer some of your questions. I will merge this post into that in due course. This post has the documentary film about Hamish and Paul dowsing the line, which may be of interest? Other people have certainl...

Re: Loooong pendulums

I had occasion to try out a long pendulum recently, when I was asked if I could locate a buried Tupperware box containing paper documents. Not much of a target to go on, so I took my largest Tupperware box and put some paper in it, then placed it on the floor. I then tied a pendulum onto a long leng...

Re: Loooong pendulums

I recently managed to acquire some TC Lethbridge books, including 'The Essential TC Lethbridge', edited by Tom Graves. In this, Lethbridge does mention that the rate lengths are liable to be individual to each dowser and encourages everyone to develop their own rates.

Re: INTRODUCE YOURSELF

Hi Paul, welcome to the forum. Your book list is certainly off to a good start - 'Needles of Stone' was the book that got me into dowsing, many years ago. 'The Sun and the Serpent' is a great one for earth energies. As is 'The Dance of the Dragon'. Other suggestions: The Spine of Albion by Gary Bilt...

CADW have just released a fantastic 3D virtual model of Valle Crucis, which allows you to walk around the site:

Re: INTRODUCE YOURSELF

Hi Christoffer, and welcome to the forum. You'll find plenty of information, both in here and on the main site, to help your dowsing, so feel free to ask us any questions you have. I'll be interested to hear about your experiences dowsing in Sweden too. There is a Swedish Dowsing Society - have you ...

Re: A Shamanic Stone

Hi Christoffer, An interesting post, thanks. It sounds like the guardian was not allowing you to access the energies of the stone because you weren't sufficiently prepared to handle them - that's kind of the point of having site guardians really! Possibly there are some detrimental energies trapped ...

Re: Military use of Dowsing

I just found some interesting references to dowsing in the 2016 book Lucifer Rising - British Intelligence and the Occult in the Second World War by Nicholas Booth. (p 59) Booth asserts that Hitler's deputy, Rudolf Hess, ... slept under magnets to draw out any harmful substances in close proximity, ...

Re: Grave Dowsing

This thread has been in the recycle bin for quite some time, but I thought it worth reviving as we don't have much discussion about dowsing for graves. It definitely seems to be more of a 'thing' across the pond - barring stuff like finding Richard III under the 'R' in a Leicester car park - nonethe...

Re: Belhaven Terrace UFO Sightings Glasgow.

That's interetsing, Mike. Both those areas are quite close to where I live, and I've never heard of either of those UFO sightings - in fact, I've never heard of any of those Glasgow sightings! A thought regarding both of those - did you check for mine shafts? There was a lot of coal mining around th...

Re: Mitchell's Fold (stone circle in Shropshire, England)

An interesting blog post here from Tim Daw that questions the age of Mitchell's Fold, citing Bur's report of aerial surveys that seem to show medieval ridge-and-furrow plough marks running right through the ring, which would suggest that the stones are a later addition: The date of Mitchell’s Fold s...

Thanks. And having that article appear in Psychology Today certainly seems more than mere coincidence as well, don't you think?

I agree. To quote one of my favourite axioms, "There are no coincidences, only synchronicities that we do not recognise." 8-)

Re: 12345

It's just coincidence and the laws of probability at play, according to this badly-written non-article in Psychology Today that basically tells us nothing: You look at your clock. And there it is, the same number. Again. What's going on? Statisticians will ask you how many times per day do you look ...
