Re: Portals of London

And here we are dowsing at the altar to Diana (Artemis) beside St Paul's cathedral. https://farm5.staticflickr.com/4052/5126064659_4a9573a633_z.jpg And here is what remains of the London Stone (referred to as a menhir in the article) while it was still in Cannon Street. Re: Re-discovery of the origin of the word dowsing

Interestingly, the word "duchar" in Spanish relates to water, but means to shower!
Also "duschen" in German means to take a shower. So all related to water!

Re: Water Diviner film

I watched the Water Diviner on TV the other day; despite my dislike of Russell Crowe, I thoroughly enjoyed it! Not an awful lot of divining going on in it though.

Re: King John documentary

Hi Did anyone see the recent BBC4 documentary re King John? There was a dowser on the programme searching for the supposed lost treasure. He was using a single rod and he accurately dowsed the contents of various earth samples they had. It was a shame that they didn't feel they could dig on his fin...

Re: 051: Dr Margaret Rainbird - Labyrinth Walker

I was unaware there were 365 labyrinths in the UK!! Did I say that she was limiting her walks to the UK? No need for the  Grahame. No you didn't say so but, if she is going to do one a day, travelling from country to country is not going to be conducive to achieving a labyrinth walk a ...

Re: Fighting Dementia.

It's due to the flavanols in cocoa.
However, other very good sources of flavanols are apples, grapes, pears, blackberries, green tea and red wine. Amongst others.
