Have any of you dowsers tried to visualize the dowsed answer rather then actually dowsing a response to your question. I am
finding that the result is very much the same.

Re: Visualizing a Dowsing Response
Tricky one, this....at what point do you "visualise"? Could there be a danger that you anticipate a particular dowsing response because you visualise it...so you get what you expect?
On the other hand, there may be times when visualising a series of possible answers and dowsing which- if any- is correct, one by one, might be appropriate?
Or should we try to have a completely blank mind (note the word.."try"..!) ?

Re: Visualizing a Dowsing Response
Yes of course. You can just as easily visualise a pendulum swinging in your head. In fact, that's a good exercise for beginners who can't get the real thing to work. Get them to shut their eyes and picture the pendulum swinging the way they want it to. Never fails to get a response from the real one.

Add to this the (purity of) intent of the visualisation, as well as its intensity.

Re: Visualizing a Dowsing Response
That is exactly what I have tried to do when I am out some where and don't have
my pendulum. I focus on an imaginary per cent chart 0-100 and see where the
energy stops on the chart while focusing on what I want to know.
When I get home I dowse the question again and have found that the energy
is very much the same.
The most difficult to dowse are personal questions. I usually have to resort
to checking with someone whose dowsing I trust for this. My dowsing
objectivity can go haywire.

I completely agree with you (see my posting under 'Health'). I wonder if we should set up a string for dowsers who would like to ask a question and have it answered by other dowsers. What do others think, would they find this valuable?

Hi Lynnie,
It sounds like a good idea. Hopefully, Simon and Graham will give us their input on this.
