WHALEBONE RODS

Congratulation for nice website
I am a dowser from Bulgaria.
Your website and forum is very useful for me.
I`ve got a very important for me question: I am looking for whalebone rods, can somebody of English colleagues to help me with more information-sizes, prices, where can I buy it and etc.
I will be thankful for any information.

As I understand it, whale-bone rods were used in the early days of the BSD but I don't think there would be a market for them today.

I've seen references to them in the literature, but I've never seen them on sale anywhere or seen them used.

The material used is not important anyway; what matters is flexibility and strength. The V rods sold by the BSD are perfectly fine.

You are correct. I friend of mine who is almost 80 years old and working with both methods (physical and mental) with whalebone over 60 years very successful . How I know he bought them from France, but many years in past. I will keep trying to search.
