This now has over 1000 views !!!Couldn't resist changing our cover picture from this press release:
'James May's Hot Rods, Ledbury Dowser subjected to 'Laboratory Scrutiny'
When 'Top Gear' star, James May, presenter of BBC TV's 'Man Lab', wanted to search for something close to his heart, he called on the insight of Ledbury Professional dowser and British Society of Dowsers member, Adrian Incledon-Webber to join in the hunt.
In the 'Man Lab' programme May is helping modern man to regain lost skills. There is a race to find May's father's long lost wedding ring involving much digging, diving, driving and - dowsing! Does he find the ring?. well you'll have to watch the programme Man Lab on BBC2 Thursday April 18th, at 8 pm to find out.
Adrian said an exciting day's filming ensued, as he used his finely tuned dowsing skills to help in the search. Unusually, James May was not in the driving seat, as Adrian dowsed with his rods while James answered questions en route.
Adrian Incledon-Webber said:
'This was a great experience and a great result for dowsing. James May was truly taken with his taste of dowsing and I hope that the programme will encourage others to try their hand. Dowsing is an ancient craft that has been used for centuries throughout the world. It's an intuitive skill we all possess but rarely use. With a little practise and some good teaching, we can develop our ability to search for what lies beneath. Dowsing can be used in health and well-being; in the home and garden; for archaeological searches; earth mysteries, discovering ley lines as well as the traditional water divining.
'James May had a go of course and found that he could get the dowsing rods to respond. Captain Slow in his quirky, questioning, considered style - a natural dowser'.

The trouble with having an open mind, of course, is that people will insist on coming along and trying to put things in it - Terry Pratchett.

I dutifully watched the whole programme till the bitter end, where they showed what happened, but then was let down!
However, Adrian has posted on Facebook that an important part was left out.
And that is impressive.

We are still in suspended animation and wish to know if that member of the yaught club will reveal the origination of his ring?

Interesting quote:
