Gerry Cremin, Irish water diviner
A nice little article about water divining (with video) in The Irish Times: Divine intervention: ‘If someone wants help finding water, you go and have a casual chat’ What I Do: Gerry Cremin is a water diviner I’m originally from north Cork, but I’m living in Ashbourne, Co Meath now. Divining is look...

Re: The trouble with Wikipedia
This is a very handy summary of the Wikipedia 'guerilla sceptics' problem.

Re: The Guardian, "UK water firms admit using divining rods...."
not a single mention of any of the science done which affirms dowsing and in defence of dowsing we have I did say almost balanced... :D Meanwhile, someone on Twitter has linked to a blog post by Robert McLuhan from the 2017 sceptics outbreak, which goes into some detail about the Betz dowsing trial...

Here's an interesting blog post on precognition (originally posted the same day as Chistoffer's post - spooky!):

Re: The Guardian, "UK water firms admit using divining rods...."
Same old same old.. And yet... the Grauniad has posted an almost-balanced piece about dowsing, even giving John Baker a good plug, despite spouting the usual Chris French party line. Why not test dowsers in a natural environment instead of asking them to dowse for hidden bottles of water? Dowsing f...

Re: Strange or not strange results from a dowsing test
Have such results been recorded with other tests? That's an interesting finding, but not unheard of. Dr Dean Radin has done lots of work on the precognition phenomenon, although not with dowsers involved. He has an interesting online precognition test hat you can sign up for here . It's free and fu...

There is a new 3D landscape of Calanais stones for Stellarium 1.2 and above, it's the first public 3D dataset for Stellarium, produced by Archaeoptics and Callanish Digital Design. It's a little clunky to move the viewing position around the landscape, but it looks pretty accurate. https://twitter.c...

Re: The Guardian, "UK water firms admit using divining rods...."
I see the sceptics are at it again - virtually verbatim reports in the Times, Evening Standard, Daily Fail, and this one from Nation.lk, which has a terrible picture of John Baker at the top. One of the UK's biggest water companies is still using dowsing as a method to hunt for leaks, despite...

An article by Louis Matacia from 2008 mentions a Captain Ralph Harris of South Boston, VA, who was a dowser for the US Army in North Africa during WWII: In World War II, General Patton used the dowsing skills of Captain Ralph Harris of South Boston, VA. During the North African desert campaign, Capt...

Re: Dowsing for Nazi gold
Just had another quick look, and I think the area in question is around here: https://what3words.com/weds.kickers.sequenced.
The road layout is a bit different, but the town names are correct.

As you wish... https://i.ibb.co/rm60ZnJ/treasuremapgrid.jpg Of course, we don't know how accurate that sketch map is, or whether it's to any scale. It would be more useful to find the area location in Google maps and post a What3Words coordinate. I've had a brief search, but the whole area is ...

Dowsing for Nazi gold
Hunting for Nazi gold in a Dutch village Exasperated residents have appealed to treasure-hunters to stay away after they descended on the Dutch village of Ommeren searching for riches potentially worth millions, allegedly hidden by Nazi soldiers during World War Two. The hunt was triggered by an ol...
