Re: Third eye, useful?

I have been reading much online about opening the third eye or 6th chakra which it is claimed is connected with the pineal gland and is located in the centre of the forehead just above the normal eye level. It reputedly increases psychic experiences when successfully activated. Meditation and perha...

Re: Life after death research.

Dipping in here, I have become convinced that in order to progress spiritually (where in the evolution of the soul, occurs as part of as larger process than material development alone), that serious mishaps among many other experiences shape this evolution, and in some cases potentially could halt t...

Re: St Michael's Mount on TV

Wow! Powerful place, one of the most powerful places I visited before i learnt how to dowse. One of the guides there was showing people how to dowse, and he told me to stand with my back to one of the pillars in the church (had a sign on), you can feel energy pulsate through it, well at least thats ...

Re: Online training for dowsers - any thoughts?

Hi, Havent got time to address too much but; I see no evidence that dowsing is genetic, or cannot be learnt. I have not come across anybody who cannot move the rods, but its more about learning to use them To make use of the skill. Even the most skeptikal of ppl can get a response, its what they cho...

Double slit experiment, i.e Skeptik experimentation

This has been mentioned on another thread, but felt it may be worthwhile to add the video of the experiment: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LW6Mq352f0E&feature=youtu.be The video shows one of many quantum experiments where in the observed has an influence on the effects of the experiment, this ...

Thanks, there are some really bad spelling mistakes in fairness, what doesn't help is when your spell check doesn't highlight it

Thank the infinite consciousness for technology, and editing :P

Re: Experimenting with dowsing

Mick, no problem, glad to have answered your original post with some useful answers :-) p.s I have tried using a pendulum, its not really for me, and I mostly do field work and the rods are very useful for finding what I am looking for, where the pendulum doesn't suit what I am doing. I guess its p...

Re: Experimenting with dowsing

Try dowsing with noone else present, Dowsing people is probably something you should do a little further on IMO. I have tried dowsing by myself several times, but it seems to work just as well if people are present or not. Is this usual, or does it vary between dowsers ? Please explain why I should...

Re: Experimenting with dowsing

I'm now fairly sure it's the dowser that subconsciously makes the rods move. For example I can say 'show me the well' and it will point to the well. I can say " show me the ugly bastard" when I'm with a bunch of people and it will point at the person I'm thinking of. I can say "show ...

Re: Is there an afterlife?

Some mediums will tell you that once a dead person has been forgotten by all living persons, they cannot be contacted....a connection through consciousnesses is necessary for the 2-way communication to happen....and if nobody is conscious of (ie remembers or has knowledge of) the dead person...zilc...

Re: Is there an afterlife?

the funeral is designed to allow the living to release the dead, almost as if the links with the conciousness's are holding the dead back from passing. I completely believe this too, Tom. The book The Lovely Bones illustrates this perfectly, from both the living & the dead's point of view - the...

Re: Is there an afterlife?

Helen, second time writing this post, someone really needs to fix the glitch that logs you out and deletes your data!!! Its a difficult one, I have seen things that are hard to comprehend, extremely personal and often only meant for me. I remember speculating at a funeral, where something rather ama...

Re: dowsing tools...

Just read this today,

creepy reading your own messages from the past… suffice to say, I still use the same kind of rods I learnt with.

I have tried other devices that belong to others, but I love the simplicity of basic metal rods :-)
