Heston Blumenthal on the vibration of food

Post by Grahame »

I just watched this BBC Click item about food preparation, where (to my surprise) celebrity chefmeister Heston Blumenthal started talking about enhancing the vibrations of food with tuning forks and singing bowls... he also talks about an experiment he's been running with three jars of rice, one of which is given love, one is insulted, and one is control.

I must say my estimation of the man has increased a couple of notches having seen this. The clip is not the best quality as his Wi-Fi connection seems very poor, but the sound is OK:

The trouble with having an open mind, of course, is that people will insist on coming along and trying to put things in it - Terry Pratchett.

That was really interesting, would like to see more on the results. You can tell the interviewer didn’t quite know what to make of it. :D
