West Coast conference 3-7 July 2020

Post by Grahame »

I've just heard that the West Coast conference, normally held in UC Santa Cruz, California, will be replaced by a virtual event this year, with a series of online talks with Q&A sessions after each.

More information will be posted on the conference web page once they get schedules sorted out.

Looks like I'll be trying to claim a refund on my flights then... :(

The speaker list for the conference has been updated. Looks like a great lineup! Email from the committee:

Greetings and Salutations!

Only 5 days until the conference!! And more commercials below!

We mailed out 3,252 bright yellow First-Class postcards worldwide! Please let us know that you received yours!

Thank you for registering for the 2020 Virtual West Coast Dowsers Conference! We are thrilled to offer you a FREE dowsing conference with all of the amazing talents that our speakers possess. We are offering this event as a gift of love and inspiration to you. We were disappointed to have to cancel our physical conference for the first time ever, but came up with a plan to share the joy and laughter of the West Coast Dowsers Conference. This conference has historically run over July 4th weekend for the past 38 years!

Soon we will have the schedule of speakers listed on our website which is www.dowserswestcoast.org

For those of you who are on Facebook, please join our DOWSERS WEST COAST group here:

When you sign up for the group (and that's FREE, too!), mention that you've already registered for the conference, please.

Please check your computer or device to make sure it can handle our conference. Please click below:

We have three questions for you .
How did you find out about our conference (since we really haven't advertised yet) and where do you live? You can give your city and state, country, just something so we can track how far our love has gone so far. Also, are you a member of the American Society of Dowsers or any other Dowsing Society? If so, do you belong to a particular chapter? These answers help us with getting to know you better. Please provide us with your full first and last name, initials will not be accepted.

For those of you who may be concerned that we'll run out of room, NEVER FEAR! Each talk can hold up to 3,000 (yes, that's three THOUSAND) people in a room. And 10,000 can sign up for each class. And don't worry about anyone dawdling after class, each talk has its own unique URL/webpage so if anyone falls asleep, they won't be taking up any extra space in the next class. No one will be able to see that you’re in a class and if you have questions, no one will be able to see what you share in the chat.

For those who are not on Facebook, we've created a few speaker introductions. Each link shows 5-10 speakers. This is just a few of our speakers and their topics so far, we're still putting together more of these commercials since we'll be having over 50 speakers who are really, really going to be speaking for our virtual conference. And we'll be having some surprise speakers as well! Some real Rock Star quality dowsers!

All talks from the West Coast Conference will be available until the end of July, using the same registration links.
