I have dowsed that the Holy Grail is not a thing but, if it is anything, it is a person....probably Mary Magdalene.

The following comment was made by Brian Kannard of Grail Seekers. It pre-dates the report about the failed Icelandic Grail-Hunt.
Brian Kannard wrote:Call me dumber than a sack of hammers, but I’ve never seen the significance of the points that most theorists chose to find their hidden geometry/meaning in paintings. Or for that matter why some elements of a painting have significance while others do not. Gianazza points out in Botticelli’s painting Spring, that five of the nine figures encode a date. What significance do the other figures have? One would think that all the elements would hold significance. Maybe art just isn’t my thing…

Dan Brown seems to be at it again with a new book.

"Brown reveals on his website that the new book will see Langdon "embroiled in a mystery on US soil" for the first time. "This new novel explores the hidden history of our nation's capital," he writes. Internet speculation has suggested the novel will focus on the Freemasons." see.....

http://www.guardian.co.uk/books/2009/fe ... ron-howard

I understand that the downtown area, at least, of DC was designed according, according to some, to Masonic principles by a laddie called L'Enfant. see..

http://www.freemasonry.bcy.ca/anti-maso ... on_dc.html

The diagonal roads in DC that are imposed on the grid pattern mostly comprise six-lane highways and these add to the proliferation of traffic lights and 'Stop' signs that grid patterns inevitably produce.
Many grid crossroads have 'Stop All Way' (sic) signs where the 'first to come - first to go' rule works, at least in theory.

According to IMDB, Ron Howard's Angel's and Demons movie is in post-production and is due for release on 15th of May.

The book was a prequel, but the movie is a sequel to The Da Vinci Code.

Trust the freemasons to invent grid-lock ! It's a conspiracy !

george: People talk of the Holy Grail being a cup, when in actual fact it is not the cup that needs to be found, but what is contained in it.
As it is a symbol of the blood of Jesus.
Sorry...which "actual facts"? Where is the proof/evidence? Who says & why?

The Archbishop is a Druid..........belongs to the respectable branch in Wales....thats okay by me.......tries to hide his belonging to the guise of bard...the music and the artys...but Druidism was very much a religeous grouping...em..........I have been a Cof E priest for many years.....I have mostly found the Church to be dogmatic......all truth belongs to them and there is no further truth to be revealed...the Church aint the only ones...they are also just too defensive foe me........it the goods they have are as good as they say then they are well able to defend themselves. Me..I wandered into a more esoteric mysicism type of belief.........dont have much to do with the Church these days but retain my credentials.........I am not knocking the Arch chap...he does seem pretty open to me and I retaing good friends in the Church..but have also lost a few..its a caser of conform or you cant be one of us.....I enjoyed the Davinci Code.........good fun but nothing to worry too much about..and I do think that everone involved in the Church should read widely as Claud Bernard said.'it is what we think we know that stops us from learning' or Martgaret Silf in her book on Celtic ways...'the spirit of the way will not allow us to forever stay within these artificial certainties'. I wonder if The Arch preached what he really wanted to or did he preaach what he thought might float the boat as it were....controversey always gets good press and boy does the Church need some right now.
