Canadian theatre seeks resident ghost

Post by Grahame »

Every decent theatre has a ghost or three, although they're probably all very lonely since the pandemic lockdowns. Now a theatre in Canada is advertising the position of resident ghost - for a small fee of course.
A theatre in Canada has launched a rather clever contest in which the winner will earn the right to be site's resident ghost when they die. According to a local media report, the future haunted location in question is the 102-year-old Regent Theatre in the community of Picton, Ontario. Although it has been rumored in the past that the site may boast a ghost or two, it would appear that the theatre has no 'signature spirit,' which is a problem that the directors of the building now hope to rectify.
Full story HERE.

I'm not convinced that these sort of appointments are entirely voluntary, you know, but if anyone's interested...?

The trouble with having an open mind, of course, is that people will insist on coming along and trying to put things in it - Terry Pratchett.

I think the owners have a cause to think they are haunted, a energy Ley runs east to west across the centre of the building, plus a sw to nw fault line down the building length, with a water spring active all with powerful influence 40 feet down running this same direction down the length of the building. Its a powerful place for those with eyes to see, a place of spirits when the forces are high, and being so complex no wonder things go bump in the night here !!
