Newbie Help: Dowsing Missing Father

Post by TinaHolton »

Good Morning!

I’m re-introducing myself after several years after revisiting my interest in Dowsing (previously gimli1) Although I completed an online course; at the time, I really should have joined one or more of the many local Dowsing groups (I live on the Somerset/Wiltshire border) but life got in the way and I didn’t…

A while ago I was given a Pendulum and began practising with it. I bought lots of books and have a long shopping list to get through too.

Last week whilst practising, I asked the irresistible question ‘Is my father still alive?’ The response was a ‘yes’ and to cut a long story short, it seems he is alive and well and living in an area in South East Cuba.

Just to give you a little bit of background story - my father, at the age of 24 years old back in 1972 set off from Falmouth to attempt to break a world record as being the youngest man to circumnavigate the world in a boat built mainly by himself.

The last radio message from him was off the Cape of Good Hope and from here it was expected that radio contact would not be expected for possibly a couple of months. Unfortunately, this was to be his last contact and despite searches, neither he or his boat were ever found. Eventually he was declared ‘Missing Presumed Dead’

So my conundrum is this, I’m only a beginner in Dowsing…I’m still not sure if I’ve even been in the ‘Dowsing State’ whatever that might be. I’ve used Dowsing protocols and I’ve asked if this information is the Truth to the affirmative. It’s obviously a big thing for me as you might imagine and I wonder if any of you more experienced Dowsers have any advice in terms of should I really be trusting this information or could it be influenced my myself on an emotional level…wishful thinking, perhaps?

I guess the next step for me would be to contact the British Embassy in Havana and of course, if fundage allowed, I’d be on the next flight to Cuba! My intuition is telling me to do just that.

I’d love to hear your thoughts and would really appreciate some expert advice please!

Thank you and I look forward to participating and learning from this fabulous Forum

Hi Tina,

An interesting tale. I'm hope you get some responses from other dowsers, but it's pretty quiet in here these days so it may take a while.

I'm intrigued to know how you think he got to Cuba - If he went round the Cape of Good Hope, surely he would be circumnavigating in the other direction?

I'm not able to dowse for this, but I guess there's no harm in contacting the British Embassy to see if they can provide any more information?

Good luck with your search.

Hi Grahame

Thank you for your reply - in reply to your question, I have no idea why Cuba - I worked through a long list of other places first but Cuba was ‘the one’.
My guess is, after 50 years he could have moved around quite a bit. Maybe I should try to dowse his movements after his disappearance, though at this point I feel I’d like/need the help of a very experienced Dowser.

I contacted the British Embassy in Havana who promptly replied to my email stating that unfortunately they couldn’t help in these circumstances but kindly sent links to organisations that might be able to.

Unfortunately, I’ve received replies from all to say, in a nutshell that they can’t help - The Salvation Army included.

You could try contacting the BSD to see if they can recommend one of their professionals; however dowsing for missing persons is an extremely specialist area and I don't know of anyone on the register that I could recommend to you.

Since you think he's in Cuba, you could also try the American Society of Dowsers, although with the same caveat.

Hi Tina,
We all have an aura or an influence that can be traced I believe, a photo would show that influence that’s possible to search for, if you can post a picture I will look for you and do my best to find him, but no promise of a result, as its not something I do all the time. Post me private if you like and Graham allows, like to help if it’s possible.

Sadly, the forum won't allow you to send a picture as a PM, Tina.

I hope Mike won't mind if I send you his email address so you can communicate privately?
