051: Dr Margaret Rainbird - Labyrinth Walker

Post by Grahame »

A day spent in the delightful company of Dr Margaret Rainbird from Australia, who has set herself the challenge of walking a different labyrinth every day for a year. I managed to take her round 6 Scottish labyrinths during her time in the UK.

Did I say that she was limiting her walks to the UK?

Actually, we're getting not far off that number - I've charted over 200 UK ones in my Google Earth "Labyrinths of the British Isles" placemark file, which I've just updated.

No need for the  Grahame. No you didn't say so but, if she is going to do one a day, travelling from country to country is not going to be conducive to achieving a labyrinth walk a day! For this reason I assumed (obviously wrongly) that you meant in the UK.

I recently heard from Margaret, who is temporarily back in Oz, having now walked over 240 labyrinths so far. She's still hoping to make the 365 target.
