Iron age dimensions

Hi can anyone tell me the normal/average dimensions of an Iron age hut. Did people live in large communal huts or individual family groups ,also did the individual huts have defensive ditches around them. Finally are there any web sites specialising in the Iron age.

Can anyone tell me the normal/average dimensions of an Iron age hut.....The circular ones were about 16 feet in diameter, the square/rectangular ones has sides of about 18 feet.

also did the individual huts have defensive ditches around them. ......No, any ditch around a hut was more likely to be a drainage ditch similar to those dug around tents pitched on a slope these days - to keep rain water from entering.
